Acceptance of the default PIB Profile.

/authentication/defaultPib

A simple true/false post of the member's acceptance of the default PIB Profile. In order to continue with authentication, the member must accept this default profile. A response of false will not allow any access to member's information, and subsequent requests will respond with this endpoint until it is accepted.

  • If the Default PIB profile is required by the Credit Union, the UI must provide the PIB explanation along with the option to accept or back out of authentication.
  • If the member does not accept the default PIB Profile (if required), they will be denied access to further API Calls and be unable to use our services.
  • These items are required to comply with CU*A’s current security requirements, and the settings that the CU has enabled.
